Following this, the revised list of candidates will be released on Tuesday, allowing candidates to withdraw their nomination papers by Wednesday. The polling for the 48 vacant seats of the upper house is scheduled for the second of next month. In the federal capital, National Assembly members will vote for senators, including one general seat and one seat for technocrats, which includes Ulema. Similarly, members of the four provincial assemblies will elect senators, comprising seven general seats, two women seats, and two technocrats, including Ulema, from each province. Additionally, one senator for non-Muslims will be elected from Punjab and Sindh provinces.
