Saudi Assistant Defence Minister Major General Engineer Talal bin Abdullah has landed in Islamabad for a crucial visit to Pakistan. Upon his arrival, he was warmly greeted by a high-level delegation. The minister is set to engage in an important meeting with Army Chief General Asim Munir, where various defense-related matters, including military training collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, will be deliberated upon. Additionally, discussions will aim to further bolster mutual defense relations.
Preceding the minister’s visit, a delegation from Saudi Arabia explored potential business opportunities in Pakistan. Furthermore, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud held meetings with COAS and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, conveying warm regards to the Saudi leadership and expressing gratitude for the Kingdom’s leadership.
