Rain and Snow to Hit Multiple Areas of the Country

The Meteorological Department forecasts rain across various regions of the country today, along with snowfall in mountainous areas. Anticipated rainfall spans upper Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Additionally, light rain accompanied by wind is expected in Zhob, Musakhel, Chaman, Ziarat, and Quetta, with partly cloudy weather predicted in upper regions. Temperature readings indicate varied conditions, with Leh at -4°C, Kalam at zero, and Islamabad at 14°C. Karachi, however, experiences hot and dry weather, with a minimum temperature of 20°C due to sea breezes. Humidity levels stand at 65%, with northwest winds at six kilometres per hour. Maximum temperatures may reach 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, but no heat wave is expected, as per the Meteorological Department.
