PTI’s Sher Afzal Marwat firmly dismissed any notion of reconciliation with the current rulers during a press conference in Rawalpindi, flanked by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. Marwat emphasized that reconciliation could only be considered if their electoral mandate was respected and returned. Asserting the seriousness of their stance, Marwat mentioned that their meeting with the PTI founder was being documented.
Meanwhile, Barrister Gohar expressed frustration over the slow pace of legal proceedings, suggesting that daily hearings could expedite the PTI founder’s release from jail, citing pending petitions in the Supreme Court.
Marwat also highlighted concerns about surveillance, stating that their interactions with jail officials were recorded. Switching gears, PTI’s Sardar Latif Khosa voiced optimism about the party’s prospects in the upcoming by-elections, urging the public to support PTI. He criticized the lack of democracy within the PPP and highlighted the challenges faced by farmers and the general populace in Sindh.
