The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced its decision to adopt an assertive opposition stance both in Punjab and at the national level. During a core committee meeting in Islamabad, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan emphasized their commitment to engaging in parliamentary politics rather than resorting to boycotts or resignations. Notably, the party refrained from allowing slogans against the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC). The PTI intends to exert strong pressure on the current government in the National Assembly, Senate, and Punjab Assembly. Barrister Gohar reiterated their focus on constitutional and legal means to fulfill their role as the opposition while prioritizing the welfare of the masses.
