Multan Orange Line Train & Metro Bus Fares Go Up

Residents of Lahore are facing concerning news as the Transport and Mass Transit Department announces a fare increase across several key services, including the Orange Line, Speedo, and Multan Metro bus. Effective immediately, commuters utilizing the Orange Line Train will experience a Rs5 hike in both minimum and maximum fares, with the minimum fare rising from Rs20 to Rs25, and the maximum fare increasing from Rs40 to Rs45. Similarly, passengers of the Speedo bus service will encounter a Rs5 fare raise. This abrupt adjustment in fares is poised to impact the daily transportation expenses of numerous Lahore citizens significantly. Moreover, users of the Multan Metro will also experience an escalation in fares, with the minimum fare now set at Rs25, up from Rs20.
