Federal Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized the prioritization of infrastructure development, particularly highlighting the completion of the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway as a key focus. Addressing the passing-out parade of patrol officers at the National Highways and Motorway Training College in Sheikhupura, he underscored the importance of setting clear objectives upon assuming office, with the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway being among his top priorities. Additionally, he revealed plans for the establishment of a motorway connecting Islamabad to Gilgit and Skardu, emphasizing its potential as a transformative initiative for the region.
Praising the integrity and professionalism of the Motorway Police, he commended their dedication and highlighted their role in upholding national pride. Expressing hope for a similar standard of conduct across other institutions, he lauded the tradition of integrity within the Motorway Police, noting the absence of bribery complaints. Extending congratulations to the passing-out officers, he emphasized the significance of upholding their oath and announced a reward of one-month salary for the department’s officers. The ceremony witnessed the graduation of 189 Motorway Police officers, 100 FIA officials, and 26 women, marking a milestone in their careers and signaling a commitment to excellence in public service.
