The party has reached out to opponents of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the province, urging them to join the upcoming protest. GDA leader and head of Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT), Ayaz Latif Palijo, issued invitations on Tuesday to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) to participate in the sit-in protest at Hyderabad Bypass. Palijo reportedly engaged in phone discussions with JI’s Hafiz Naeemur Rehman and STP’s chairman Dr. Qadir Magsi, informing them that Pir Pagara Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi, the leader of the alliance and spiritual leader of Hurr Jamaat, will lead the sit-in. Palijo emphasized that the protest is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants, providing a platform for expressing opposition to alleged electoral misconduct.
