Analysis drawn from 10 comprehensive studies conducted across Europe and North America sheds light on the exercise benefits of electric e-bikes compared to traditional bicycles. The collective data, involving 1,415 participants, revealed a notable trend, e-bike riders exhibited increased riding duration and covered greater distances in comparison to their counterparts on traditional bikes. Consequently, e-bike usage correlated with higher levels of overall physical activity, underscoring the potential of electric bicycles to promote healthier and more active lifestyles among riders.
