The CEO of Dubai Airports expressed optimism about surpassing the record for passenger traffic this year, citing the hub’s resurgence beyond pre-pandemic levels in 2023. Despite challenges like the Gaza war, Dubai International, which has maintained its status as the world’s busiest airport for international passengers for almost a decade, recorded an impressive 87 million visits in 2023, exceeding the 2019 figure of 86.4 million, according to recent data.
