The CM proposed a new selection mechanism for CEO education positions, involving tests, interviews, and training. Guidelines for CEO, DEO, and DDEO selection procedures were also discussed. Maryam Nawaz underscored the importance of providing adequate facilities for special children in government schools, with plans for dedicated schools at district and divisional levels.
Proposals for a Standardized Matriculation Examination Board and a centralized education authority were deliberated upon, focusing on teacher development, curriculum, testing, and learning outcomes. Additionally, initiatives such as a school hockey league and “School Olympics” were proposed. A new storybook addressing environmental issues was presented during the meeting.
