Balochistan rains, Three childern die as roof collapses in Kharan

Tragedy struck in Kharan district as torrential rains caused the roof of a house to collapse, claiming the lives of three children and injuring another. The victims, aged five, 12, and 16, succumbed to the unfortunate incident. Relief efforts are underway, with the Provincial Disaster Management Authority and National Highway Authority mobilizing teams and heavy machinery to ensure open roads amidst the challenging conditions. Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan, and various departments are actively engaged in rescue and relief operations across rain-affected areas, focusing on dewatering flooded urban areas in Gwadar, Jiwani, Surbandar, and Ormara. Medical teams have established free medical camps to provide essential healthcare services to affected individuals, with thousands receiving treatment and medicines. Gwadar has been declared a calamity-hit district by the Government of Balochistan, with all available resources being directed towards assisting those affected by the rains. Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki is overseeing relief efforts to ensure effective support for the affected populace.
