When asked about turning down lucrative offers that conflicted with his professional ethos, the ‘Aadat’ singer affirmed his commitment to his principles, stating, “I’ve never compromised on my values, be it in my profession or personal life.” Addressing the importance of respecting God’s sanctity in poetry, Atif emphasized the wrongness of any lyrics disrespecting God. He also admitted to apologizing to God if he ever unintentionally sang such songs. On the topic of vocal enhancement through autotune, Atif acknowledged its presence but cautioned against relying solely on it for overnight fame, asserting that genuine success stems from hard work. After a seven-year hiatus, Atif Aslam is poised to make a Bollywood comeback with a song in the forthcoming romantic film “Love Story of 90’s.
