Ali Pervaiz Malik selected as PML-N candidate for NA-119 by-election

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has selected former MNA Ali Pervaiz Malik as its candidate for the NA-119 by-election. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally issued the party ticket to Malik. Previously, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz won from NA-119 in the general elections. Malik had previously served as MNA from this constituency in 2018. Meanwhile, Information Minister Atta Tarar criticized PTI over events on May 9, stating that recorded videos substantiate the facts and accusing PTI of falsehoods.
