In a recent update, the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) disclosed that a significant volume of 92,233 metric tons of goods traversed the nation’s railway network over the past week. According to ARA’s statement, the transport breakdown reveals 75,698 tons conveyed through the strategic Hairatan port, with an additional 5,054 tons via the Aqina port, and 11,481 tons through the Turghandi route. This remarkable achievement underscores the increasing role of railways in facilitating trade and commerce across Afghanistan’s borders.
