Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti of Balochistan has announced a significant initiative to send 400 children of working professionals to higher educational institutions across the country. Speaking at the Labour Welfare Fund meeting in Quetta, Bugti outlined plans to ensure that children of both professionals and labourers have access to higher education, with all educational and residential expenses covered by the Labour Welfare Fund. He emphasized the importance of addressing socioeconomic inequality and providing equal opportunities for all, stating that talent, not luck, should determine success. Bugti expressed his belief that these children, regardless of their background, have the potential to become successful professionals such as officers, doctors, and engineers. Furthermore, he revealed plans to expand the program, with a goal of sending one thousand children of labourers to higher educational institutions in Pakistan from the following year.
