PPP leader Akhunzada Chatan asserted during a press conference that the prevalent “blue-eyed” governance has detrimentally impacted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s economic landscape, attributing the recent surge in terrorism to this administrative failure. Emphasizing the necessity for a policy overhaul regarding Afghanistan, Chatan criticized the ineffective implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP), citing it as a contributing factor to the escalating security concerns. Urging Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to address terrorism-related issues promptly, Chatan underscored the imperative for a jirga meeting to tackle emerging district challenges. Additionally, he lamented the inadequate educational resources in the region, highlighting the absence of textbooks for students as a pressing concern.
