The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the 20-player probable squad set to compete in the upcoming series against West Indies women. Scheduled from April 18th to May 3rd at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, the squad, led by Saleem Jaffar, was carefully selected based on recent performances in both domestic and international cricket. Among the notable inclusions are Ayesha Zafar, Rameen Shamim, and Sidra Nawaz, demonstrating promising form in recent domestic matches. However, Omaima Sohail and Shawaal Zulfiqar, still in recovery from injuries, are absent from the squad. Stressing the significance of this series for Pakistan’s position in the ICC Women’s Championship, Saleem Jaffar highlighted the importance of preparation, with the squad scheduled for a seven-day training camp in Karachi starting from April 2nd. The series, comprising three ODIs and five T20Is, is slated to unfold at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, with the West Indies women’s team arriving on April 14th.
