Faisal Amin Gandapur, brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has declared his candidacy for the upcoming by-elections in the National Assembly. He will be vying for the NA-44 constituency seat in Dera Ismail Khan, which became vacant after his brother’s elevation to the provincial seat won in the February 8 elections. The decision was conveyed by the KP CM, who is also the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s provincial chapter, after discussing it with party founder Imran Khan. Faisal Gandapur, a former provincial minister and member of the KP government’s Wildlife and Biodiversity Board, is set to contest the by-elections scheduled for April 21, as announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan earlier this week.
