Saudi Aramco intends to fulfill full contractual crude oil volumes for most Asian buyers in April, despite reducing the supply of heavier oil to Chinese and Indian customers due to oilfield maintenance. This decision follows OPEC+ extending voluntary oil output cuts into the second quarter. While allocations for China remain steady, some buyers’ requests for increased Arab Medium and Arab Heavy crude were not met. In India, at least one buyer received their requested volumes, albeit with a reshuffling of grades and reduced supply of heavier crude. The extent of reduction and affected oilfields for maintenance were not immediately disclosed.
